Hi my name is Sophia! This is my new maths learning. I have done Tidy numbers and place value.
But... This was my first time learning reversibility. It was pretty easy for me but it sounds hard.
Tidy numbers is where you add more numbers to make it a tidy number this is an example : 46+28=
so you add 2 more to the 28 to get 30. Then you add 2 more to the 46 to get 48. Then you have 48+30= then you just steal the 4 and the 3 and make them in to a tens number. So now you would have 40+20=60 Then steal the 8 and 0 Then you will have 8+0=8 That means 60+8=68. Place value is where you just steal The hundreds number first and plus them or subtract them. Then you steal the tens number and plus them or subtract them. Then you steal the ones and plus them or subtract them. And finally Reversibility is where you have like for example you have 50+30= Under that you put in 50- what? to make 30. Then you just work that out. See! Very easy! Hoped you liked my New Amazing Maths!
My question for the day is, which strategy do think was the easiest to work out?
